My Journey

Strategy / Planning:  This is my passion – identifying opportunities within the marketplace and developing the plan that will achieve the desired results.  I have over 25 years of diverse experience developing and executing critical growth strategies that have resulted in significant incremental value.

Business Development / Strategic Relationships:  This is my natural orientation – to meet and engage executive leaders to identify their “unrecognized needs” and work collaboratively with their team to build effective operating plans that meet the needs of the organizations. 

Execution / Focused Metrics:  This is where the rubber meets the road – a strategic plan is only as good as the team’s ability to execute.  My planning process breaks down each initiative into manageable components where I set clear goals and objectives with established delivery dates and hold people accountable for the results.  I work cross-functionally to build consensus, aligning teams around achieving results.

Division Vice President, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Spine: 2021 - Present

Provide support and direction to the Neurosciences, Orthopedic and Spine service lines at each of the HealthONE Hospitals in the Continental Division of HCA.


Swedish Medical Center, Englewood Colorad0 (An HCA Hospital): 2017 - 2021

Senior Vice President, Business Development: 2020 - 2021

Responsible for the strategic planning and associated outcomes for critical services lines at Swedish Medical Center.

Vice President, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Spine: 2017 - 2020

Direct daily operations, strategy planning and business development in collaboration with HealthONE facilities, overall vision planning and growth for neurosciences, orthopedics and spine in adherence with business goals.

Acceller, Inc. 

June 2006 – March 2014

Held multiple progressive roles during tenure as 7th employee hired for a SaaS startup. Directly contributed to growth of company from $4.7M to nearly $50M and over 100 employees in 8 years. Company achieved largest revenue source from key partnerships and growth from new business development in the industry. Company was acquired by Bridgevine in 2014 (subsequently purchased by Updater in December 2019.)

Chief Revenue Officer, 2012 – 2014

Assumed overall P&L management for Consumer Marketing, Business Intelligence, Channel Development, Strategic Partnerships and New Revenue Generation initiatives. Restructured multi-divisional organization to align responsibilities and enhance efficiencies in operations.

Executive Vice President, Sales & Operations, 2008 – 2012

Promoted to Senior Executive Team with oversight of distribution and supplier relationships to foster sales growth with effective business development and strategic planning. Led efforts focused on emerging opportunities, marketing and sales optimization strategies.

Vice President, Operations, 2007 – 2008

Assumed oversight of Channel Development team with leadership of revenue and profitability planning and execution.

Senior Director, Sales Operations, 2006 – 2007

Hired as the 7th employee of the startup with recruitment by the CEO of Acceller to manage strategic operations initiatives with identification of opportunities to enhance operational success and expansion efforts.

Stroke Advisory Board Member – State of Colorado (2-Year Appointment, 2019 – Present)

Appointed by Governor Jared Polis to an 18-member Board charged with assessing stroke care across the state and making recommendations to the State Legislature on how to improve stroke care in Colorado.


 Executive Board of Advisors – Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado (3-Year Appointment, 2019 – Present)

Elected to the Executive Board of Advisors in 2020, the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and Wyoming is a Non-Profit dedicated to overcoming the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
